How do I add a hyperlink button to my blog?

    New to WP, setting up my blog for a long motorcycle trip next week. I want to create a button/widget on the right sidebar with a hotlink to another website called Spotwalla, where readers can click and see our progress each day. I tried and did create a widget, but the link was not hypertext. any ideas on how to do this?

    Try that. Make your button then find the tiny bit of HTML to paste into a text widget and then paste the CSS as it is into your child-theme style.css or use a Custom CSS plugin to add the CSS.

    Well, my Avast anti-virus software blocked me from that website, so I didn’t push it. Perhaps there’s another solution…thanks, however, for making the suggestion!
