‘An error occurred while processing the form. Please try again’

I get this error when submitting a post and it takes more than 100 seconds, while it is normal for it to take more than 100 seconds, cloudflare times out after 100 seconds and the submit request returns error 524. The process is actually completed on the server side of things, but the error ‘An error occurred while processing the form. Please try again’ shows on the screen.

Is there any way I can override this error, and make the page reload instead?

    Thank you.

    Hi @jack1132132

I hope you are doing good today.

In the Behavior tab in the edit mode of your form please change Method from Ajax to Page Reload and see if this helps.

When it comes to “An error occurred while processing the form” you mean you would like to replace text?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hello,

I would like to add an action, not replace the text.

    Hi @jack1132132

    Thanks for response!

We’ll need to find out why this error is happening first. Could you please:

    1. export the form from the site and share it with us?

It’s best to put exported code on your Google Drive, Dropbox or similar account and post direct link to it in response here. We could then import such form to a private test site and check its configuration and behavior and do some additional testing.

    2. point us to the page with the form in question on your site so we could check it there too?

This often can help spot some conflicts and “under the hood” errors that might be related to the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
