not sure about this, didn’t the fb plugin had tutorial or guide on this?
is comment out the comment didn’t work? like this

unless the fb is hook into comment_template()..better check if the plugin had some instruction on this.
I didn´t found any instructions in FB Plugin…
I tried, in these last days, solve the problem, but haven’t success… I think the plugin is to add one more comment option (FB), keeping the defalut comment field… but with 2 comments fields, some visitors was confuse…
Do this theme option->post setting->comment notice->disable it
Sorprenent, if I do this, the Facebook comments will go off too…

In Mesocolumn, I want to disable WordPress default comments but keep the Facebook comments (by Facebook Social PlugIn) below any post text… how can I do this?
When I edit single.php, deleting the comments respective code line, the Facebook’s comments gone too…
