    Hi,

    How disable additional (on) for pages, cat and other without manual description?

    WordPress + Woocommerce

    Page cart – Description: Cart on NameSite
    Shop page – Description: Shop on NameSite
    …
    Category Products – Description: Name category on NameSite
    …

    How disable add on NameSite?

    In meta seo options automated description – [ucheked] Add Blogname to automated description additions? …but on NameSite added for category and pages without description.

    Hi me2you,

    To prevent spamdexing, when no additional description can be generated, it’s added regardless (to create something more complete).

    The code that does that is found here.

    When adding posts to a Tag or Category, it takes up to 7 days for the Category/Tag description to change, including a small excerpt from the latest post. This is because the generated description is held for 7 days for those.

    The only way to truly disable the automated generation of such is to fill in a custom description.

    Sometimes, I have to make decisions, while ignoring options, to help users get the most out of SEO :).
