How can you delete an image?

Hi,
I couldn’t find any way to delete images. Then I just deleted the images from the upload folder and the radio buttons with the broken image link are left. Both on the header upload page and each individual page where you can choose a header.

Please let me know how to get rid of deleted images and clean up the interface.
