How can I use shortcodes within Content Blocks?

    I’m trying to use metaslider within the Content block, but everytime the content block loads it just throws in an empty metaslider, not the one I called with the shortcode. All other non-shortcode content works fine in on the page, just metaslider.

    Edit: The Php template include doesn’t work as well.

    Thanks for your question.

    Can you confirm how you are calling the content block (e.g. the exact shortcode, etc.) and what you are setting the filtering option (para) to?

    Also, can you confirm how you are calling the meta slider?

    Hello, sorry for the late reply. I’m calling the meta slider into the content block with a shortcode like so:

    [metaslider id=113]

    I then add it into a SIte Origin builder widget using the Loominsoft Content Block widget with the ‘No Paragraph tags/Run Shortcodes’ option

    Hi Ian

    Also apologies for the late reply. We had one of our main team members taken long term ill in hospital, which was having a knock on effect on all work we undertake. I’m glad to say that he is back in action and we also have an extra team member on board to prevent this kind of scenario.

    When using Site Origin (or the other visual page builders), you need to set full content filtering.

    Please let us know if that works.
