How can I use an image as page/post navigation?

  • I would like to use an image instead of the text returned by previous_posts_link(). Is there a way to do this?

  • For clarification, the issue I am having is that I can’t include php statements in the previous_posts_link() call. And without this ability, I can’t create the url to point to the theme folder in a portable way.

    In other words

    previous_posts_link('<img src="get_bloginfo(stylesheet_directory)/arrow.png">');

    doesn’t work. I can’t be the first person to ask for this, but I ahve yet to find a solution.
