How can I use a wordpress theme in a website design

    I have the following task
    –          Create a website with a header, body and footer as per  http://xyz.com/
     
    –          Install WordPress locally and use any theme of your choice. If you are comfortable doing a  HTML5,CSS3,JS/JQuery and not on WordPress then let me know.
     
    –          Follow the design and wireframe as per http://xyz.com/
     
    –          Pages to complete from this website are
    1.       Home
    2.       News (along with inner pages)
    3.       Contact Us
    –          Rest of links can be #
    –          Header and Footer as per http://xyz.com/
    –          There is a back to top link on the footer
    –          There is a Loading Screen
     
    –          Follow the each and every functionality of the home, pay attention to the animation, colours, etc. In short, the site you work on should match http://xyz.com/.  You can use the same images on http://xyz.com/
     
    Home has the following components:
    –          Slider (pay attention to all the features on the slider)
    –          Tagline
    –          Masonry block(pay attention to all the features on this block) . On clicking “Get Discounts through VFI”, it should open gallery of images(you can use any images on google) in a lightbox. Use a modern lightbox which has swipe functionality on mobile(NOT prettyphoto js or anything that is similar to that as it is outdated design. You can use any free jQuery framework) . On clicking Legal Help, it should open a modal/pop up. In the modal/popup, Prompt the user to enter a start date, add 1 year to the start date entered by the user to display an end date, match that end date to the current date and display a message whether the end date is expired or is still active.
    –          Testimonial Slider
     
    News has the following components:
    –          Banner Image with title
    –          Article blocks( pay attention to the features on these blocks)
    –          Sidebar
    –          Each block leads to inner page
     
    Contact Us has the following components:
    –          Google Map( It should not be an iframe, Google Map API only)
    –          Block of Text
    –          Block of Text
    –          Parallax image block( pay attention to the features on these blocks)
     
     
    I have the above project to complete , it is to make a website according to the design of some other website plus
    it says Install WordPress locally and use any theme of your choice

    I have installed wordpress locally and currently I have the Twenty Fourteen Theme installed and Activated .

    I need to know how can I use a wordpress theme in a website like this which is based on the design on some other website.

    Is this some homework assignment?

    You can install any WP theme you want, whether it’s something you purchase or download from wordpress.org/themes. Search the theme repo for “masonry”, “parallax” and other relevant terms.

    If you need to modify an installed theme, it’s best to work in a child theme: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

    If I am designing a website in Pspad or Visual studio , how can I use WordPress in this , I am new to wordpress , so asking , I have installed the WAMP server and WordPress
    from WordPress.Org , How can I use theme in the local web project , do Need to use the www folder in WordPress site?

    I think you need to spend some time understanding how themes work first. See https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/
