  • Hello Support!

    I’ve a question about widgets!
    How can I translate them?
    I have a widget with a text area in english, I’d like to translate also in the italian version.

    Here there is the website: www.
    In the italian version all works, except the text on the footer area.

    Thank you!

  • Hi,
    I was able to do it on a blog I’m working on: Elevent Blog

    I have an English/French blog and this widget is a newsletter signup. It looks like this in the editor;

    [:en]Try Elevent[:fr]Essayez Elevent
    [:en]We offer the first online service to assess the value of a sponsorship proposal in less than an hour. <br><br>This powerful tool is intended primarily for event promoters and organizations seeking sponsors. <br><br> <a href=""> Try Elevent</ a>
    Nous offrons le premier service permettant d’obtenir en ligne l’évaluation de la valeur d’une proposition de commandites en moins d’une heure.<br><br>Ce puissant outil se destine principalement aux promoteurs et aux organisations à la recherche de commanditaires. <br><br><a href="">Essayez Elevent</a>

    Hi Paola,

    I confirm you that whever you cannot have it automatically translated you can use the hard code [:it or other language] like wrote above Frankmireault. I lost many hours asking for support not only here and by the end for some reason eventhough you have correct .po/.mo translation sometimes must hard code title and whatsoever I did it in my test site for English/Italian/German and in my new website for italian/spanish/english, similar suggestion you will find in the qTranslate forum.

    I wish it helps you.
    Ciao e buon lavoro.
