    I all,
I would like to remove Custom Permalinks plugin.

Do you have any clue in order to remove this plugin and come back to the “post/pages URL permalink rule”, without rewriting 304 rules for each one of the 4,500+ pages of my website ?

    Thank you

    Hi @ddayoverlordwebmaster

Why do want to remove the Custom Permalinks plugin? It may damages your site SEO and makes returns 404 on some pages.

    Thanks,
    Sami

I want to use the classic “name of post” URL, without rewriting URLs using a plugin anymore.
Is there a way to avoid 404 errors or is this plugin a “one way only”?
    Thanks.

@ddayoverlordwebmaster Issue is that which Permalinks you have customized using the Plugin that may not work. Either to use this Plugin or update the Postname of all the Post/Pages where you have customized the Permalink using this Plugin.

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Same request here.
I now manage a site where the plugin is used only to rename simple page or posts slugs. But this is a basic wordpress feature so i want to remove the plugin.
I am wondering if there is a way to use the plugin renamed slug as the standard wordpress slug.

Obviously i can do it manually…

Lorenzo, I guess there is no way to do it. Otherwize, the plugin author would have told us how to do it or he would have set the solution with his plugin.

This is not possible so far, unless you do it manually. I have more 4 500 pages, it will takes days.
