Support » Plugin: WP Ultimate Search » How can I remove the categories/text/tag labels from the search bar?

  • Hi,

Thank you so much for a great plugin! I absolutely love the design and how amazing and easy it is to use!

I have stumbled over one issue that I was hoping you can help me solve. As I am typing I often see a string at the bottom of the page the echoes things like “19 results are available, use up and down arrow keys to navigate.”, “No Search Results, “category” etc, especially if I am scrolling or navigating on the little popup menu that appears listing “category” etc.

I was wondering if there is a way that I can remove this string, as well as remove the little popup menu that appears in the search bar with “tags” and “categories”, as well as remove the “text” field that appears left of the search text when you search. Basically I would like for the search bar to be completely clear of everything but the search terms and placeholder and to remove the string that comes with it.

Just to clarify, I am not speaking about <div class=”wpus-no-results”><?php echo wpus_option(‘no_results_msg’); ?></div>. That part I actually love! Thanks for making it so easy to modify the message through settings as well!

Could you please assist me with the issue above?

Thank you for your help and thanks again for the amazing plugin!

    Edgar
