How can I put a link in the Gutenberg block? I’m missing now the toolbar with the button! Can you explain how to use your plugin in the Gutenberg block?

  • Hi @blogengel,

For now you must use the Classic block to use the button. We released compatibility with Gutenberg prior to 5.0 being launched but were restricted with button placement. We weren’t able to add our button to core blocks due to a Gutenberg issue.

That restriction has now been lifted last week and we’re about to release 3.6 which will have a new button on core blocks such as the Paragraph block. It should make editing and placing affiliate links in Gutenberg heaps easier.

Keep an eye out for the update when it comes through!

Thank you for your prompt reply. I can not take the Classic Blog because it causes other problems with me. I think I’m waiting for the update and will continue to use the old editor as long. You do a good job!

Related to this, is it a conscious decision to have the Thirsty Affiliate link not be one of the default autosuggest links @jkohlbach?

    Hey @defries,

There’s very little ways for us to hook around the core link tool unfortunately. With ThirstyAffiliates 3.6 (released yesterday) we introduced a new button on core blocks for ThirstyAffiliates links.

    Hope this helps!

is it possible to add the TA+ button also?
