How can I make my website faster? (5 posts)

I've been having some problems recently with getting the website to operate at a decent speed. I've cut out as many plugins as I can (to the point where I only have 3, Theme-Check, Jetpack, and W-3 Total Cache. I've changed themes. All to no avail, though. Is there anything else I should think about doing by any chance?

    Thank you very much!

    - use last wordpress and plugins, theme - update
    - use good quality of plugins and themes
    - use only what you really need
    - use good hosting provider
    - optimize website - pictures, databaze
    - use cache, use it good, make some tests

I checked your website, its horrible ! wait few seconds for loading and there is almost nothing. Your hosting is crappy or you set W 3 total cache wrong, make same test, try to turn off this plugin if it will help, if yes, set it different.
I think your hosting can not be so bad, probably your setting w3 cache is not right. Play with it, test it.

One place I go is webpagetest to see how my site performs after making significant changes.

Your site has a 7.344s load time. To put it in perspective, google is 0.822s.

Looks like your biggest culprits are your images and javascript. You should optimize your images and review/update some of your code.

I wait about 20 seconds to see this website :) So there is some critical problems, I think with minimize javascript, gzip or hosting ... pagespeed does not show it, but something is really wrong there.

Contact your host. Sounds like your server is choking your site, or perhaps you're on a bad piece of hardware.
