How can I make all thumbnails “Linked to Page”?

  • After uploading an image and clicking on it in the browser area below the write post, there is a menu option appearing on the thumbnail: clicking on them they toggle, e.g. in the second row: Not linked > Linked to image > Linked to page. This ‘Linked to Page” option makes the image open inside a WP page.

I would like to make all images ‘linked to page’, so that when the the thumbnail is clicked, the full image shows in a special page (as opposed to open in a blank browser window).

I have many images from posts I made before this WP “image linked to page” feature was available, and that’s why I would like to make it into a default, rather than re-uploading all images using the “linked to page” option.

    Any ideas appreciated!
