Hello Stephane,
at this moment BPML cannot help with preferred language.
We’re considering to add this feature.
Yes i need that too. thanks

@stephanemartinw @mimosalguero What would you like BPML to do after user selects preferred language?
Redirect after user logs in?
Hi,
I’m reading my post again but I’m not not so sure that it is a possible BPML feature…
I would like that a buddypress member would be allowed to modify it’s prefered language from the buddypress front-end profile (just a profile modification on front-end).
Once the profile is modified, it would allow for example that emails could be sent user this prefered language.
Is this your job ? Or a job for BuddyPress (it should also allow during registration phase to define the prefered language ) ? Both ?
Thanks for your support,
@jozik Im agree with @stephanemartinw that would be great feature, at the moment multilanguage is a problem on buddypress communities your plugin is a great solution but in my opinion as this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-user-language/ doesnt offer a complete Multilanguage integration. Please think about it even i will confortable to buy a premium version with that feature.
thanks

@stephanemartinw If we want to offer user to use languages defined by WPML, it needs to use WPML API. I think that is something we can help with.
Sending emails in preferred language would also require WPML API implementation.
@mimosalguero We’re considering to queue this kind of work.
