How can I know a plugin update is availble

Hi,
I set-up your plugin to block automatic updates on 3rd party plugins.
It is working and plugins are not getting updated.
However, I would like to manually update some of the plugins. But in the plugins list, it is not indicated which plugin has an available update. And there is no option to update at all.
What is the solution?
