Hi all. My website is (NSFW and 18+ only http://www.dopesmoke.com) and I would like to display something similar to this under each post title-

And under each post where it currently says-

June 8th, 2007 | Posted in Education, Cannabis News, Guides | No Comments

I would like it to say-
Posted in Education, Cannabis News, Guides | No Comments

However I would also like this highlighting some how, maybe with a background of some sort, similar to the blockquote tag.

Also when your reading a post direcctly, at the end I have related posts, i would like to add the same highlighting to this also.

How can i achieve this? Im fairly comfortable with editing php, css and html. Just not writing it!

    Thanks for your help

You don't have to write - just READ and edit. Open your index.php and single.php files in a plain text editor and find both occurences of this:
    <p class="postmetadata">... etc.
    Edit it. Resource: http://codex.wordpress.org/Stepping_Into_Template_Tags
