How can I hide/protect my videos? (3 posts)

I've been testing Flowplayer and it's all working swimmingly, but I have a question which is in relation, although not 100% a flowplayer query.

I have pages with flowplayer displaying video content that is only available to people that register in my site.
Once anyone registers they can see the video, but the problem is that they can also see the 'protected' page source that shows the source location of each video.

There's nothing (in theory) stopping them from hosting the videos on their own site with flowplayer and my URL which eats my bandwidth as it plays my 'hidden' content through their website.

How can I hide/encrypt the URL within the source code or stop people leeching from my video library. Can it be prevented?

    Thanks in advance

If you're hosting your video files on your own web host, then you need a content protection plugin like DigitalAccessPass.com for that.

Or if you're hosting your videos on Amazon S3, then you need a plugin like S3MediaVault.com for that.

I'm not buying/installing an affiliate marketing system just to prevent from hotlinking.

There must be another simpler way...?
