how can I get the popup work when site is redirected from a different domain

    We have a new website and a new domain name. When people are visiting the old site, i redirected them from the old domain to the new one – and when visitors try to go to the old domain, they will be redirected to the new site.

    When they are redirected, I want a popup to show and say

    Welcome to our new site!

    I tried when “From a specific referrer” option and put the old domain name but the pop up doesn’t show.

    Should i try an another option. Any help on this?

    Hey there NerminAcelya,

    Hope you’re well today!

    That is the only condition that could be used for that but the issue appears to be related to PopUp not being equipped at this time to interpret a redirection as a referral.

    This has already been suggested at WPMU DEV forum as a possible feature and it will be considered for future development.
