  • Resolved theauls

    Hi – any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I’m using the TwentyEleven theme and I have a site that currently has 6 pages. One of those pages is the “blog” page and has a little talking bubble at the top that you can click to comment on a post. That’s great but that’s all I need. At the bottom of every other page it has a big box to “Leave A Reply” and I don’t want it there. How do I get it to go away? Do I need to change the code in the comments.php? If so, what would that be?

    THANK YOU!!!

    please use the forum search – there are many topics dealing with ‘leave a reply’ boxes.

    there are the ‘discussion’ settings;
    and for individual pages you can either go via the ‘quick-edit’ link under each page title in the ‘pages’ page; or use the ‘discussion’ area below the page editor, which you may need to activate by ticking the ‘disusion’ box under the ‘screen options’ tab near the top right.

    in extreme, create a child theme, and edit content-page.php
    to remove the line with ‘comments_template()’

    Thanks so much!
