    I imagine it’s because your ‘header’ div is appearing before the <body> tag on some pages, whereas on others it resides just after the ‘wrapper’ div (and which seems to be the correct place for it). Now why this is the case for one single post page and not the other I couldn’t say without a seriously good look at your theme’s templates.

    Hmmm… thanks Kaf — tried making the changes you suggested with no luck. Any other ideas welcome 🙂

    >>#header {
    background-image:url(images/blogbnr2.jpg);
    padding: 115px 0 0 0;
    background-color: #F5F5E7;
    border-bottom: 10px solid #9BBB38;

    }<<

    In your stylesheet.

    Add: background-repeat:no-repeat;

    Thanks doodlebee! Fixed one page and stopped the repeating…now just need to fix the centering on the “general” page. Have tried a few things with my limited php knowledge (I’m a total newbie)… any suggestions would be great! On the home stretch!

    Somehow it is fixed! Wish I knew what I did to make it stick! Thank you all for your help!
