Check your hosting account’s control panel and/or documentation first, as many hosting providers now offer a simple installer of their own which takes care of most of the work.

@donaleewallace please take a look over this or as @macmanx said, ask your hosting provider about Softaculous or 1-clik installers – most of the hosting providers offer a tool that helps you install WordPress with just a few clicks.
