  • There is no built in way to do that I know about. I’m sure it can be done though.

If you do this, your users will not be able to change any of their information including their passwords. They’ll be stuck with the cryptic and virtually guaranteed to be forgotten passwords WP generates. They can’t change email address if needed. Nothing. Are you sure about this?

yes, I am sure. I already made an independent page for customer profile

Have a look at some of the role management plugins. It may be possible to use one of them to remove all access privileges for the basic subscriber role.

wp_login_url will accept a redirect parameter. That will get you partway there, so long as you cook up your own login links.

Remove the ‘read’ privilege from the ‘Subscribers’ and they cannot access the backend but you get a ‘no access’ message on login not a clean redirect.

I should add that I don’t what will or won’t break if you deny ‘read’.

just protect that folder with passwords-that’s easy.

ofcourse password should look like this: 4c?89xGUz(a8E4GQL*)xds?s5EV

    not some; 123thisstupidpass
