how can i ensure gravatar is pulled down as https

Hi,
when a user comments on a post and I have gravatar turned on I get a security warning, I tried to use your plug in to see if it would fit it by replacing the http://www.gravatar.com/avatar with https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar, but it still give a security warning.
Is there a way to fix this?
