How can i do for showing the articles preview on the main WP page?

    Hi all,
    I have installed my first WP, i have created new categories, new links e some new pages.
    My problem is, when i write one or more articles, these are showed whole in the category and in the main index page (very long).
    How can i do for showing a preview of my articles in the site home page?

    Hi

    Open your theme’s index.php page in an editor. Find
    the_content( (leave everything to the right of that opening parentheses the way it is)
    Replace the_content( with the_excerpt(

    that will make it work the way you want. You can do the same on other pages in your theme if you want – category.php
