Sorry, both issues are not possible to implement in that plugin.

By the way: What is meant as a “primary category” of a post?

Thank you for the info–too bad 🙁

In WordPress, when setting categories on a post, one category can be set as the Primary Category for the post. Some sites, like my client’s site, rely heavily on this and so only desire to display the primary category with featured posts as seen in the Flex website demo.

It might be useful to consider allowing the primary category to be displayed.

Also, I noticed that while categories are displayed, they do not link to the actual categories! Kinda makes one wonder why display the categories at all if the user can’t click through to them 🙂 My client will ask me for that feature 100% And I agree with it.

The “primary category” is not a feature of the standard WP installation. I am guessing it is provided by a plugin or the theme. I do not integrate any custominization into a free plugin.

I would think about integrating it into a chargable plugin of mine which provides all features of RPWWT and more: Ultimate Post List Pro. You can take a look with the free version Ultimate Post List.

Can you find out which part of the client’s installation provides the “primary category” feature?
