how can i disable huge help banners with advertising

I like to use your plug and I am also happy that it is free. I also understand that you are promoting the premium version. But now it’s going to be a lot. For example, if I delete a gallery tag or a gallery, I get a huge banner with a mini text and a large YOAST Premium notice and the text that a redirection would be possible with YOAST Premium. If I then delete 5 entries I get 5 banners. I hardly see my user interface anymore and have to click away all the banners individually (I think that was the case with galleries). Couldn’t that be made a little more discreet and less annoying?
    Many Thanks

    Hi @detoris

In the Yoast SEO Premium plugin, when you delete a post or page, the redirect manager automatically detects this and then asks you if you want to redirect the deleted post or page to another URL with a 301 redirect, or if you want to create a 410 redirect (signaling that the content has been deleted). This is a very useful feature and you can learn more about it here – https://yoast.com/features/redirect-manager/

The only way to remove the ads and banners would be to upgrade to Yoast SEO Premium. Aside from it being ad-free, you also gain access to all of the premium features, as well as plugin updates, personal support from our team, and access to the training courses on Yoast SEO Academy.

While we offer the free Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin for all users, we do have to advertise and promote the premium version of the Yoast SEO plugin as well. It’s necessary for us in order to continue to develop both the free and premium version of Yoast SEO for WordPress, as it takes time, money, and resources. We hope you understand.

I find the hint with the redirect very helpful. As already described, I also understand the need for advertising. But I have the feeling that no matter what I do in WordPress and only remotely related to YOAST, I immediately see the request to YOAST Premium with text and a large orange box.

Please don’t get this wrong. I find your program very useful and I would like to say again that I understand the advertising for the receipt of the plugin. Perhaps you could make the advertising a little more subtle and reduce the large advertising to the actual YOAST administration.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts @detoris. We completely understand your point. However, we want to mention that when deleting an existing item from your site, you shall only see the redirects notification only once. So, if you delete 5 existing posts, you shall still a single redirect notification about them.

However, if you’re seeing 5 redirect notifications, that’s definitely odd and not ideal. We can imagine how this could be frustrating for you. Can you please share a screenshot that shows multiple redirect notifications when deleting multiple items from your website? In addition, can you please confirm whether you’re running the latest version of WordPress and Yoast SEO v16.4?

We look forward to hearing from you.

I had used WordPress 5.7.2 and YOAST SEO 16.4 in Windows 10. As a browser, I had some windows open in Firefox 88.x. In the windows I had galleries, gallery tags etc. open because I had to change a lot. It happened from time to time that several boxes opened in one window. Unfortunately I didn’t take a screenshot of it. I couldn’t recreate the problem now either, but it was definitely there. I’ll keep watching and if it happens again I’ll be in touch.

    Hi @detoris

We tried deleting 4 pages in bulk using Yoast SEO for WordPress v16.4 and it only showed the advert once, at the top of the page – https://snipboard.io/NfgWEj.jpg

We’ll be closing this thread for now. Please do feel free to reopen the topic if you are still experiencing any issues, or open a new forum topic for a different issue or concern with the Yoast SEO plugin. Thanks!
