  • Hi guys

Can you tell me how I can change the link on the RSS subscriber button on the header so it points to my feedburner account?

I am having real trouble changing the CSS. I am only an amateur blogger and CSS makes me turn to jelly!

  • Whoops, sorry!

    The URL is

What theme are you using for your WordPress? We can research this and find it out exactly. There is a way that you can do this manually through the code on wordpress.

However since you are just starting out it may be better for you to use this plugin:

it is the Green Tweet theme

I have the plugin that you mentioned but the RSS subscription button is an integral part of the design and I really want to keep it and have it working and pointing to my feedburner account

Thanks, I would really appreciate any help you can give me

I noticed in the header.php there is a line of code in the file that says:

    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> RSS Feed" href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>" />

In this particular file you can replace

    RSS Feed” href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>"

    with this code:

    RSS Feed" href="your-feedburner-url"

You would do the same thing for:

    `<ul id=”header_links”>
    <li><a href=”<?php bloginfo(‘rss2_url’); ?>”>`

    Again replace

    <a href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>">

    <a href="your-feedburner-url">

    that’s worked, thanks a lot!

Great, glad that we can help. Let us know if we can do anything else. [sig moderated as per the Forum Rules]
