I'm trying to change the color of the white content areas (I think it's called container) NOT the background image of the whole site.

    This is a link to a page - http://www.interactivequiz.co.uk/wpinteractivequiz/?page_id=5

I want to change the white area to blue and the text to white.

I cant work out how to do it in the CSS? Can anyone help me please?

Where did you download this theme from?

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

It was made by a friend for Responsive!

I'm trying the Firebug and can change everything else apart from the background color of the container!

That os not the original Responsive theme. It's a child theme.

    Theme Name: School Games
    Theme URI:
    Author: Richard Haggan
    Author URI:
    Description: School Games Theme
    Version: 1.0
    License: GNU General Public License
    License URI: license.txt
    Template: responsive

As per the theme developer's request, please try posting on the theme's dedicated forum: http://cyberchimps.com/forum/free/responsive/
