How can i breakdown categories module in Post/Page Editor into many panel?

Hi i’m just wondering if it’s possible to breakdown categories listing into more than one panel.

The categories by default showing all categories in a right panel of the WYSIWYG editor in post/page[add new/edit].

Is there a way to make a new panel so i can make specific module only listing checkboxes for certain categories by any means necessary?

example:
let say we already have the default one which list all the categories and we’re going to need one which list only childrens of ‘news’.
