How can I automatically make move index page to wordpress?

  • I have wordpress at (..root/wp) folder.

    I also have a domain. I want to make my webpage automatically move to my wordpress blog when people type my domain.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks.

  • Set up a redirection.

    If you have a front-end like cPanel, this should be intuitive (menu widgets exist). If not, edit your .htaccess file to include e.g.:

    RedirectMatch permanent ^http:/your_domain/$ http:/your_domain/wp

    Open notepad
    put this in it:
    <META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT="10; URL=http://www.example.com/wp/">
    Save as index.php
    Upload to root
    And 10 seconds after hitting that page, the redirect will kick in. Vary the 10 as desired 🙂

    Thank you very much!!!
