How can I add portfolio support on my theme?

    Hello,

    Please forgive me if it’s totally funny question. The process maybe easy.

    I’m developing a theme. I want my theme to have an option to add portfolio items and the portfolio option should be turned on by default when someone installs and activates my theme.

    What do I need to do for this functionality?
