  • I created a poll with polldaddy and I don’t know how to get it to show up on my post. Please help – I don’t know coding or where to put it if needed. Thanks so much.

  • List your polls, then click “Share-Embed” link that appears when you hover over the one you want. Then just copy the WordPress Shortcode and paste it in your post or page or sidebar or wherever you want it.

Hi I have the embed code and I can paste it into the body of the edit post page and it shows up under my post but how do I get it to show only in the sidebar? I have been all over the options on this page and cant see anything that says post in sidebar. Thanks

You can’t use the [embed] style shortcode in your sidebar.

I thought they made a widget for that, though… if not, put the javascript code in a TEXT widget on your sidebar.

Hi i am new to wordpress and dont know about any widget. I did put the javascript code in a text widget on the sidebar but all that hows up is the headin. Any other ideas?

Hi, as mentioned in another post, just use a text widget and the poll shortcode.

    [polldaddy poll="123456"]

Hi I tried that but just the header showed up

Hi, that should work fine unless something funky is happening with your theme. Please contact Polldaddy support and we can help you further.
