    Hello,

You can add your Facebook page under Appearance > Widgets or Appearance > Customize > Widgets: https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-widgets/

If you have Jetpack plugin installed on your site, there should be “Facebook Page Plugin (Jetpack) available in the Widgets section: https://jetpack.com/support/extra-sidebar-widgets/facebook-like-box-widget/

If you don’t have Jetpack, you’d need to get an embed code from your Facebook account and embed the code in “Custom HTML” widget.

    I hope it helps.

hi, my client does have jetpack installed. however i am not seeing the Facebook Page Plugin.

i am wanting to add it in the footer instead of the sidebar like this site shows. my theme does allow widgets in the footer. https://www.qualitycat-krabpalen.nl/kartonnen-krabmeubel/cat-on-katten-krabplank-klein

Ok, please go to Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Footer and click “Add a Widget”. If Jetpack is enabled, you should be able to find the facebook widget there – https://snipboard.io/NyPR1v.jpg

    hi,

that’s what i had tried to do in my second comment. jetpack is installed, i added a widget but the facebook plugin wasn’t showing.

however, just this morning i got the issue resolved by jetpack support. i hadn’t heard anything back on here and it dawned on me to ask them. i wasn’t sure if it was a wordpress or jetpack issue.

they said i had to first log into the wordpress.com account associated with jetpack and activate the two options for widgets.

“Make extra widgets available for use on your site including images and Twitter streams”
    and
Enable widget visibility controls to display widgets only on particular posts or pages

    see this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/nmMa8e.jpg

this issue is now resolved and the post can be closed.
