• If you go to http://speaker.miloshapiro.com/milo-beyond-speeches/improventures , you’ll see what I’m trying to accomplish. Note that the wrapping on points 2,3, and 4 indents a little after a CNTL+ENTER to create a line break.

    I tried spaces, no luck.
I tried inserting a bunch of   . This looked good but after publishing, they were stripped out of the HTML!
In desperation, I finally added a bunch of underscores and colored them white. but I’ve heard rumor that doing white-on-white is cause for bots thinking you’re hiding keywords (not sure if that’s true, but regardless, this seems like a pretty lame solution for something that shouldn’t be hard)

Don’t want to use the indent feature because that would throw off the line before it, too.

    Thanks!

Instead of using paragraph tags (< p >) in the list, use ordered list for the purpose (< ol > & < li >). this’ll solve your problem.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply! That’s great info to have (I missed that I even HAVE a numbering option thanks to WP-Edit) and definitely better than not having an option, but I still prefer my format indenting of the numbers (the one I was able to create with the white underscores) where I have the hanging indent on line two. I just like that look better. Surely this can’t be so hard. Feels like, in WP, I’m always having to settle for what defaults are OR I’m always looking to find a work-around 😉

I’d still like to know if there’s just a way for ME to have control over inserting some blank spaces without WP erasing it.
