    Hello,

    I tried many plugins and ways to add the image with the original size but it didn’t work with me.

    It seems like the post control the image and make it smaller.

    How can I add it to my site with the original size?
    Thank you in advance!

  • when you insert the image into your post, in the media library you select the image and on the far right at the bottom you have the option to select the size.

    Janet4now;
    Yes, but the post make it smaller I don’t know the reason.
    Is there any way to control the size of the image when posting it to the site?

    Thank you in advance!

    Post a link to your site (on the page with an image you want to enlarge)

    I’m working on AppServ (Local Host) I don’t have a URL yet.

    I posted the image link to the page and it appears just like a post (smaller than the original)

    go to the post and select the tab for text (instead of visual).

    If you could copy the code for the image and paste it in here?

    I tried it; it didn’t work.

    As you see, it’s not a small picture.. It’s like a header.

    This is how the picture appear on the site:

    No, I meant the entire code surrounding the image where you inserted it into your post.

    It would look something like this:

    <p><a href="http://www.optivestinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/book.jpg" >
    <img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-410 pix" alt="Cash Out, Cash In"
    src="http://www.optivestinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/book.jpg" width="200"
    height="312" /></a> Read straight through or absorbed in sections, Cash Out, Cash In
    is intended to be a handy desk reference for all stages of wealth management.</p>

    I’m using local host so you’ll not be able to see it.
    Anyway this is the code:

    <img src=”http://localhost/wp/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/cropped-Header2.png&#8221; alt=”cropped-Header2.png” width=”1260″ height=”350″ class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-15″ />

    take a look your themes css, check for image div

    OK, I looked at your png samples you posted. You are pulling in the large size and yes it’s because the width for the post is only 570px. The images will be reduced to the available width.

    What is it exactly you’re wanting to do?

    Thread Starter Mohamed

    (@soufanemohamed)

    Oh OK now I understand why it’s smaller.
    But how can I add it with its normal (big) size?
    I just need to add it freely without any maximum size..
    Can I add it to my site without a post? I want the original size to appear.

    Thank you in advance!

    If you have the option of a full width template, use that. Or create category of images and set a custom template to view when using that category.

    There are all kinds of solutions, but it really depends on the overall requirements and not just this one issue.

    What theme are you working with?

    (@soufanemohamed)

    I will try it.

    I’m working with the theme “Graphy”

    Thank you janet4now for the help πŸ™‚

    By the way, yes I have the option “Full Size” when I add a new image but it didn’t work because the image is always appearing smaller than the original. I’m still trying plugins and lessons but no good news..
