How can I add a Paypal payment system to my WordPress site? (5 posts)

I'm offering downloadable pdf documents as well as a monthly subscription service. I've searched the plugins for a simple Paypal integration solution but there doesn't seem to be one, or am I just missing it? And if so is there a way to have it look more seamless, design-wise, than the sites that simply shoot you to the Paypal payment area.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

There are several plugins that let you use PayPal as the payment gateway. I like eshop. It supports downloadable files.

One of the plugins that I think has many features and is very powerful is s2member, there is a free version and it allows for monthly subscriptions and protection of downloadable content.

You can even protect certain pages and only paid members can see them.

    Plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/s2member/

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately after a lot of research these 2 seem to have some serious flaws. The one that I've found that seems the best all around solution is from cart66 though I'd love someone to make a really easy to scan table of solutions and all features. For my purpose of having digital downloads as well as a subscription service this looks like the one, hopefully this helps others in their search as well.

Hi tspino. Thanks for the kind words about Cart66. We use nothing but Cart66 to sell Cart66 and to manage the members area as well. So, you can see an example of what Cart66 can do simply by using the http://Cart66.com website. We are selling a digital product, keeping track of memberships and permissions, integrating with zendesk for support, etc. Thanks again!
