    How is a reply detected?

    Poorly is the answer.

    Postie looks for a “Re:” in the subject and a matching post title.

    E.g.

    re: finding nemo

    will assume this is a reply to the existing post titled finding nemo

    You can control the reply behavior using the “Treat Replies As” setting.

    Thank you Wayne for replying. I have solved it differently, using filterpostie.
