# How are plugin conflicts handled?

 * I am new to this caching plugin so my problem could simply be something I don’t
   quite understand yet.
 * I have a site where I use a profile plugin called UserPro, but for some reason
   whenever I have this W3 Total Cache activated, it changes the look of the login
   page and I get one of those spinning gifs that looks like something is happening,
   but it never finishes loading, just keeps spinning. I cannot log into my site
   when it’s like this, so I have to rename the userpro plugin via ftp to deactivate.
 * Does anyone know how I could investigate what is wrong?
 * If it’s not a setting I can control, I’m curious to know how programmers handle
   conflicts between plugins? (I mean, ones they want/choose to address) For example,
   let’s say two popular plugins had an issue when they were run together. Is there
   always a right way and a wrong way to program something, so it’s always cut and
   dry who needs to adjust their code? Or are there many different correct ways 
   to program the same effect, so one programmer will have to concede and make changes
   to their code in order to satisfy the users of another plugin. I’ve always wondered
   how that is handled between plugin developers. 🙂

 * I would look to see if you have the minify option running if so disable it.
