How are people registering?

Hello!
I used this plugin for a client website. She runs a pre-school and we don’t want people to be able to register on their own. I set it up so that the owner can create the users and send that info to parents to give them access to private information.
She has received a few bogus users registrations and I need to ensure this can’t happen. Do you have any idea how they’re doing this if I never used the shortcode [wppb-register]?This is the body of the email my client received:
