How: Ajax check for new post

    Hi,

    I would like to find a way for a ajax script (or plugin if it already exists) to check for new post while the visitor is on the site.

    If there are new post created, there should be a visual element (an image) loaded and the title of the page should change (like twitter inserts (1), (2) in the title etc when new tweets when on page.

    I have tried WP-LatestPost plugin but cannot make it work.
