Hi, as admin avatar only wordpress default profile picture is displayed. When I remove profile picture in the settings, nothing is displayed. What is the deal with the admin avatar?

Otherwise the plugin is absolutely great.
    Many greetings Rainer

    Hi Rainer,
This plugin is using the standard WordPress function get_avatar().
    https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_avatar/

It should work the same for a normal entry as well as the admin-reply.
Could it be you are using a plugin to do stuff with avatars?

    Hello Marcel,
i use the plugin Simple Local Avatars.

    Hi Rainer,
I just tried on my test setup.

I enabled avatar and admin avatar in the guestbook settings. I enabled avatar in WordPress comment settings.
I installed the plugin you mentioned and selected an avatar from the local library in the setting in my profile that the plugin provides.
I see that local avatar on my entry and on the admin entry when I look at the website without being logged in.
I am sorry, I don’t know what is happening.

Could you follow these steps and also provide a test entry with test reply? Maybe something is showing in the html, javascript or network tab.

    Hello Marcel,
I do not understand what happened now, but all of a sudden the avatars are displayed. is perhaps because a support staff of another plugin is currently working on my website.

But would also work the plug in “Avatar Privacy”. i would hate to change anything now as long as it works.

    Hi @phuripatwattanakul, @mpol,

    Avatar Privacy author here.

@phuripatwattanakul, you contacted me via my website a few days ago, but it looks like you did not see my reply. I’m not totally clear about the issue, but there is a common pitfall when using Avatar Privacy:

Unless a user sets “Allow logged-out comments with my profile picture” in their profile, calls to get_avatar( $user_email ) (with the address of a registered user) will be treated as attempts to spoof comments and use whatever default avatar has been set. (This does not happen if get_avatar gets the whole WP_User or Comment objects.)
