MailChimp for WP offers all sorts of (custom) integrations.
Here is the easiest way: https://kb.mc4wp.com/add-sign-checkbox-custom-form/
But we have more advanced integrations as well:

I’m sure Danny will have an even better answer for you soon.
Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!
Thanks Lap, since I’m not really a MC4WP user, I never noticed that this is possible. According your first link the MC4WP plugin will “listen” to any form that has the fieldname “mc4wp-subscribe”. How does the plugin know which field has the name and e-mailadres?

It will recognize the email trough all sorts of magic. For other fields you can prefix the fieldname with mc4wp- followed by the field name in Mailchimp, example mc4wp-FNAME.
Or you can translate the field names trough PHP snippet.
This example is for WooCommerce, but easy to adapt it to other integrtions:

Hey Olaf,
Good to see you around here and thank you for taking the time to try HTML Forms. An integration with MC4WP is definitely in the makings. I’m still working out how to go about this exactly but I think we can expect a first version of it in the next few weeks.
Until then, adding a field named with name & value mc4wp-subscribe=1
should do the trick as well. It will usually automatically find the email & name fields and can be managed from the MailChimp for WP > Integrations > Custom settings page.
Cheers!
Hi Danny,
thanks for the follow up.
See you next time during a WordPress Meetup in Nijmegen 😉
Works great!
Thanks
PS, this way you can built as many forms you like even with the free version of MC4WP 😉
