 * I am using the XCART5 addon “Blog System in X-Cart”. I installed the plugin in
   my WP admin and the glossary link does show up in my post. However, the hover
   feature is not working.

 * I am not sure how XCART5 is integrated in WordPress, did you enabled the post
   type in the settings of Glossary?
 * Probably this plugin is altering WordPress to integrate a different CMS in WordPress.
   Anyway that integrate is for a payment plugin so the only way is for us to get
   a temprary access to the site (send to [support@codeat.co](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/hover-on-link/support@codeat.co?output_format=md))
   to see the problem and if can do something for that problem.
