[Resolved] Hover effect for Pin It button

  • I installed your plugin on my blog. It seems to work better than any of the others I tried. I might opt for a smaller pin it button, but I also am unsure the hover effect on the pin it button is functioning as designed. It seems I may have to add a special CSS rule.

    I looked through the support section, but didn’t find anything applicable. I’m using Safari on Mac OS X but I can try other browsers.

    Hi @muskie,

    The tabs.css file interferes with the button.

    You add somewhere a css rule like this:

    a.pinit-button { background: url("http://blog.muschamp.ca/wp-content/plugins/jquery-pin-it-button-for-images/images/pinit-button.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent !important; }

    but it’s not a great way of fixing this issue. In the next version of the plugin I will change few things in the css to get rid of similar issues.

    Thanks for the fix, I actually put it in my blog’s style sheet not my site wide stylesheet, but it seems to be an improvement, though I’m not sure everything is perfect.

    Hi again,

    new version of the plugin is available. Please update your version, in visual settings switch to ‘dynamic’ mode and delete that piece of CSS code I’ve given earlier. After that, please check out if the plugin works properly on your website and let me know!

    Done and thanks.

    I tried, but apparently I didn’t put any text in this box when I marked it resolved.
