Yes, i tried but when i drop files they are copied with number.
I think this plugin is only for images one by one?
You must find the image then go to edit and after that you can replace the image. But if you drop 100 images they are copied with new name???
How to make that?

And how about using Filezilla and overwrite those files (when prompted)?

Yes i could, but it will replace only original files not the small, medium and big names (file-90×67.jpg, file-500×375.jpg) and if you have 500 files its a bad variant.
Overwrite Uploads is a great plugin i suggest a feature:
And it will be a great idea on page Upload New Media (wp-admin/media-new.php) under the text “Maximum upload file size: 50MB.” to have a checkbox “Replace/Overwrite existing files. (Otherwise will create a copy with xxx number after filename)”.

I you have any ideas just send many thanks 🙂
I would suggest replacing the original images and afterwards using Regenerate Thumbnails.
Wow, like Media X said, it’s a great tip 🙂
