This is just as impressive as any of Justin’s work!
It has a beautiful look, and loads of gorgeous little details that many themes leave out. One thing I almost never see is the attention to editor styles here, which are very thorough here. This isn’t important to me, as I am not trying to replicate the front-end look of a Post while editing, and I can use preview. But some of my clients might love having this leg up on what their Post will look like before publishing.
The code quality is superb, which would matter to a developer. It’s logically organized and understandable.
Possibly because it’s been out for awhile and doesn’t get updated so often, it lacks the stuff you see nowadays for the hipster home page with zillions of home widget areas. As such, out-of-the-box it’s somewhat better suited to a blog than for some other kinds of sites. Having said that, it would be very easy for any good developer to pop in extra widgets for enhanced hipsterism, or a tweaker could use plugins to do that.
