When I try to send a test email using the Third party option, it gives the following error

    Request error not JSON:<br />
    <b>Fatal error</b>: Cannot redeclare class phpmailerException in <b>xxxxx/wp-includes/class-phpmailer.php</b> on line <b>4040</b><br />

However, I do use the Gmail SMTP on the website which works fine.

    Am I doing something wrong?

It looks like you are using another email plugin which might be generating a conflict with MailPoet, thus this specific error message.

Oh okay. I thought they could co exist. I disabled the other plugin and it worked like a charm. Thanks a ton for replying.
