Hosting Move Disaster

Hi guys

Newbie here. We have a company website that got hacked http://www.converga.com.au/ and I have purchased another hosting to transfer the site. I have transferred all the files and DB and renamed the URLs on the files and DB so that I can first test the site before I point to a new name server.

http://67.20.76.125/~converga/websitecomau/wordpressedit

The site was a work of another developer and he would not help in migrating because we are moving out of their servers.

I already read and done the migration step from codex by the way.

Please help.

How frustrating!

There are three css stylesheets and one javascript file that aren’t being loaded properly, as the URLs are incorrect.

For example, one is listed wit the following url:
http://67.20.76.125/~converga/websitecomau/wordpressedit/wp-content/plugins/bwp-minify/min/?f=~converga/websitecomau/wordpressedit/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/css/styles.css,~converga/websitecomau/wordpressedit/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/assets/css/frontend.css,~converga/websitecomau/wordpressedit/wp-content/plugins/wp-pagenavi/pagenavi-css.css,~converga/websitecomau/wordpressedit/wp-content/plugins/wp-ui/css/wp-ui.css,~converga/websitecomau/wordpressedit/wp-content/plugins/wp-ui/css/themes/wpui-light.css

Whereas the old working site give the url as:
http://www.converga.com.au/wp-content/plugins/bwp-minify/min/?f=wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/css/styles.css,wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/assets/css/frontend.css,wp-content/plugins/wp-pagenavi/pagenavi-css.css,wp-content/plugins/wp-ui/css/wp-ui.css,wp-content/plugins/wp-ui/css/themes/wpui-light.css

Did you do a search and replace on the database? It looks like that may be the issue. Be sure that you’re searching for (and replacing!) the correct info for each instance. There’s info in the WordPress docs on moving servers and changing domains (http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Changing_Your_Domain_Name_and_URLs) which may help.

I used http://pixelentity.com/wordpress-search-replace-domain/ from that step you pointed out from codex

wow where did you get that link from above? ow will I correct it?
