hosting a microsoft clickonce application on wordpress

I’m trying to run a clickonce installer from my wordpress site so the user can download an application.
The clickonce installer consists of a setup.exe file and a folder with the actual application files.
on a normal website the setup would be in the root folder as would the application folder. The installation would normally be started by clicking a link to the setup file.
I’m not sure where to upload the necessary files to in my wordpress site. I’m guessing public_html folder.
I also need to tell clickonce the url that the application will be installed from. Has anyone done this before? I’d be grateful for any advice.
